Since Focus Driver Performance was established in 2016 we have had the vision to be the one-stop shop for drivers in every aspect of preparation they need to achieve success on the race track.
Then known as EurOz Driver Performance, the business has since grown and expanded its services to establish itself at the forefront of the Australian motorsport industry, enhancing the skills and abilities of both established and up-and-coming drivers from right across the country.
From our Sydney Motorsport Park location, we have set new standards in driver training and performance optimisation, and while both our Interstate Driver Development Days and Remote Sessions have been extremely popular, we also understand that it wasn’t practical for many young drivers to travel interstate for sessions as often as their New South Wales based counterparts were using our facilities.
With that in mind, the decision was made to look into expanding our services to other possible locations, and today, we are excited to formally announce a new chapter in our journey – the expansion of Focus Driver Performance to Queensland.
Queensland is home to a significant portion of the greater Australian motorsport industry, with an incredible pool of talented drivers, top-tier teams as well as many of the sports suppliers. So, the expansion into the Sunshine State was the logical next step for Focus Driver Performance.
Just like our Sydney Motorsport Park location, we believe there is tremendous value to our customers in being based in the venues they already visit on a regular basis, and as such, when the opportunity to set up an additional site within Queensland Raceway was presented, it was too good to pass up.
As Queensland’s home of motorsport, Queensland Raceway, is familiar territory for all levels of motorsport competitors. Coupled with the recent investments from Tony Quinn to update the racetrack to a world-class standard, the venue was an obvious choice for Focus Driver Performance to expand into.
Focus Driver Performance will be bringing its full-service offering to Queensland Raceway. As you’ve come to expect from us if you have been to our Sydney facility, we will have a dedicated professional open-wheel racing sim and race car sim. Additionally, we’re adding a third sim to the mix, a specific karting sim setup. Best of all, all three sims will have their own data stations to be used either independently or in linked coaching sessions.
The larger floor plan has also allowed us to have dedicated spaces for our Cognitive Development Training and Performance Psychology sessions.
While the newest addition, that you won't have seen before at Sydney, is our new Motorsport-specific High-Performance Fitness Gym with specialised weights and cardio equipment.
Bookings for our Queensland Raceway facility are now open. You can book online at your convenience or get in touch to find out more.
Or if you are curious to find out more, we’ll be hosting an open day on December 2nd. Keep an eye on our social media for more details.
